Since the ultimate aim of rehabilitation of persons with different abilities is to prepare them for meaningful, contributory and participatory members of the society. In the present context, education and socio-economical empowerment plays vital role in making their life meaningful for which right-based approach needs to be exercised. Most of them have been largely ignored or neglected by society or even by their families and living on miserable conditions, although, the Government has brought legislation's based on the developments at the international level and also due to local lobbying. But the fruits of these legislations are yet to reach the common man.

As a voluntary Non-Government Organization, Uma Educational & Technical Society, Kakinada has limited resources. Nevertheless our limitations, UETS is whole-heartedly and sincerely serving the persons with disabilities and people below poverty line. In support to our services, we need your generous support.
